Margaret died in June 1908:

Another highly respected old colonist has passed away in the person of Mrs. Margaret Magill, who died at her residence, Webster street, last night, at the advanced age of 84. The deceased, lady, who was a native of Wexford, Ireland, arrived in Victoria in 1852, and has almost continually since that date resided in the Ballarat district. Her husband, who predeceased her by many years, was Mr Alexander Magill, one of the founders of the brewing firm of Magill and Coghlan, which was some years ago incorporated with the Royal Standard and Leggo's breweries into the Ballarat Brewing Company. The late Mr James Coghlan, of Magill and Coghlan, was a brother of the deceased: She leaves two sons and one daughter. Mr William Magill, of Melbourne, is the oldest of the family, and the remaining son is Mr Alex. Magill, of Elliott and Magill, maltsters. The daughter, Miss Annie Magill, resides at her mother’s house in Webster street. The funeral will take place on Saturday morning, the cortege leaving, St. Patrick’s Cathedral at 11.30 for the place of interment, the Old Cemetery.[1]
