An application was made to transfer the license in September 1935:

APPLICATION for TRANSFER of LICENCE. I, Annie Victoria McCormick, the holder of a victualler's licence for the Allandale Hotel, at Allandale, in the Allandale Licensing District, and I, Ellen Davies, of 18 Davison street, West Brunswick, hereby give notice that we will APPLY to the Licensing Court at Melbourne on Monday, October 7, 1935. for the TRANSFER of the LICENCE to the said Ellen Davies. Dated September 24, 1935. A. V. MCCORMICK. E. DAVIES. T. E. Byrne, Esq., 30 Lydiard street, Ballarat, solicitor for the transferror. W. J. Dowling, hotel broker, 358 Collins street, Melbourne.
