The Atlas Pic Nic Hotel was a hotel in Piggoreet, Victoria <1860's-1876>.

Joan Hunt describes the hotel as being "...on the Tableland overlooking the township...".[1]

The hotel often called simply the Atlas Hotel.
History[edit | edit source]
The hotel was offered for sale in May 1866:
PIGGOREET. SATURDAY, 19th MAY. Eleven o'clock. THE ATLAS PICNIC HOTEL Furniture, Stock-in-Trade, license, and all Eight. Title, and Interest in the Land, &c. SAMUEL DEEBLE has been instructed to sell on the premises as above, on Saturday, 19th, May, at 11 o'clock prompt, The whole of the above property, without reserve. Terms-Cash. SAMUEL DEEBLE, Auctioneer. Deeble's Exchange, 43 Sturt street, next Lester's Hotel.[2]

- In the 1860's the publican was Solomon Cox.[1]
- In September 1871, the license was granted to John Egan.[5]
- In December 1876 the publican was William Egan.[9]
