In May 1883 the company announced that shares with unpaid calls would be auctioned at Leake's Hotel, Creswick:

AUSTRALASIAN EXTENDED GOLD-MINING COMPANY (No Liability), Spring-hill, Creswick. All SHARES forfeited for the nonpayment of the 35th call of 1s per share will positively be SOLD by public auction at Leake's Hotel, Creswick, on Saturday, June 9th, 1883, at 5 o'clock p m , unless call and expenses are previously paid Nos 1 to 18,000, except those already paid on. W. P. JONES, Manager. Creswlck, May 29th, 1883[1]
