The Boomerang Hotel was in Ballarat, Victoria, <1857-1863>.

The Boomerang Hotel was in Plank Road (later known as Main Road), near the New Mining Company claims.[1] In January 1857 it was described as being opposite the Spun Puddling Machine.[2]

The hotel was put up for auction on 12 May 1863. It was described as having:
"...besides the bar, an assembly or concert room, bar and other parlors, five bedrooms, kitchen, five stall stable and out-houses, and is situated on the Plank road, near to the claims which have been purchased by the New Mining Company."[1]

The People[edit | edit source]
- In June 1857 the license was granted to Frederick Harris.[3]
- In June 1858 at his license renewal, Harris was given a caution about running a disorderly house.[4]
- In June 1859 the license was granted to J. Moisher (John Moizer).[5]
- In June 1861 the license was granted to Thomas Moiser.[6]
- In 1863 the hotel was owned by a Mr. Moser[1], or also given as John Moizer.[7]
