The People[edit | edit source]
- In October 1875, the license was granted to Edwin Prebble.[1]
- It was renewed in December 1875.[2]
- In June 1876 the license was granted to Thomas Sanderson.[3]
- In September 1876 the license was transferred from Thomas Sanderson to Mary Franz.[4]
- In December 1877 the police objected to the renewal of Rachel Ellis's license on the grounds that the hotel was dilapidated and badly furnished. The case was adjourned for two weeks.[5]
