The Castle and Bowl Hotel was a hotel in Ballarat, Victoria, <1868>.

The Castle and Bowl Hotel was on the corner of South Street and Raglan Street.[1] This address is now 402 South Street, Ballarat. The Royal Oak Hotel is still on the site. In 1866 it was named the Castle and Ball Hotel.[2] Did this change, or a misspelling?

Background[edit | edit source]

This hotel became the Royal Oak Hotel in 1873.

The hotel was offered for sale or lease in September, 1868.[1]
