Dana Street is a street in Ballarat, Victoria.

The street is about 1.92km in length, running east west from Greville Street to Pleasant Street. From Greville street which was the boundary between Ballarat and Ballarat East, the road continues as Eastwood Street.

History[edit | edit source]

It is named after Henry Edward Pulteney Dana, Commandant of Native Police, who attempted to collect the first licence fees at Ballarat in 1851.[1]
