The Diggers' Arms was a hotel at Long Point, Victoria, 1858-1865>.

The hotel was at Long Point, about 5kms west of Creswick.[1]
Background[edit | edit source]
John Armitage's original application in June 1858 for a license was delayed by a week as the hotel was not finished.[2]
In July 1864 the Ballarat Star reported that Pepper and party were sluicing for gold behind the hotel and making good wages.[3]

The People[edit | edit source]
- In June 1858, 1861 and 1863, the publican's license was granted to John Armitage.[1][4]
- In January 1865 John Armitage was granted a beer license.[5] He was declared insolvent in August 1865.[6]
