The Emerald Isle Hotel was a hotel in Bungaree, Victoria, <1870-1885>.

The hotel was in the Bungaree Licensing District.[1] In 1885 the address was given as State Forest Road, which was also the road with the Carriers' Arms Hotel.[2]

The People[edit | edit source]

  • In January 1870 the license was granted to Daniel Closehy.[3]
  • In December 1877 the license was granted to Thomas Cunningham in lieu of transfer.[1]
  • On 9 December 1880, an appication for a license in lieu of transfer by Thomas Ryan was postponed for two weeks.[4]
  • On 9 December 1880, an application for a new license by Thomas Maher was withdrawn.[4]
  • In December 1884 the publican's license was granted to Michael Donnellan.[5]
    • In December 1885 his license was renewed.[2]
