When the publican applied for a license in June 1857, the hearing was postponed for a week:
Henry Farley, Farley's Hotel, Main road. Mr Dunne supported the application, Mr Taylor said that the bed-rooms were in the course of erection, but there were none in a fit state at present. Postponed for a week.[1]
