He did not attend the Licensing Court in June 1862:

Henry Parker, Man of Kent; postponed, the applicant being unable to attend through severe illness. License to be granted to him upon three sureties signing the recognizances.[1]

In December 1869, Parker paid £5 10s to run a refreshment booth:

The right to occupy the refreshment booth at the forthcoming fete in Mr P. Russell's paddock, Carngham, in aid of the local widows' and orphans' fund, was sold by Mr J. S. Lyon, by public auction, on Friday, at the Man of Kent hotel, Snake Valley, and was purchased by Mr Henry Parker at £5 10s.[7]
