John Farrar was a publican in Ballarat, <1857>.

In June 1857, Farrar applied for a publican's license at the Ballarat East Licensing Court, however the hotel's name was not given in the newspaper report. Farrar did not appear at the court hearing, and his application was postponed for one week.[1]
