John Fox was a publican in Ballarat, <1870-1884>.

John Fox, publican of Ballarat East, but now out of business, was listed as insolvent in August 1870.[1] The reason was bad debts. Liabilities £670 5s 6d; Assets £15 15s; Deficiency £654 10s 6d.

In December 1876 John Fox was granted the publican's license for the Grand Stand Hotel in Haddon.[2] His license was renewed in December 1877, 1878, 1879, 1881, 1882, 1883 and 1884.[3][4][5][6][7][8]
