John Walder was a publican in Ballarat, Victoria, <1908-1911.

John Walder was the son of Wilhelm Walder and Anna Maria Gasser, born c.1862 in Germany.[1][2]

In 1907 he married Jemima Anna Flemming.[2]

Walder was the publican of the Town Hall Hotel in Armstrong Street, Ballarat. In 1908 he was fined £5 for trading within prohibited hours.[3]

Walder died in 1911, aged 49, and is buried in the Ballarat Old Cemetery, 19 January 1911, Grave J.1.2.4.[4][1] After his death, his wife, Jemima, took over the hotel.
