  • In September 1857, tenders for providing mining equipment could be left with Mr. Hunter at the hotel.[2]
  • In February 1858, the hotel was the venue for a political meeting by Mr. McMillan and Mr. Tilt, both seeking reelection to the Mining Board.[1]
