The Mount Beckworth Hotel was a hotel near Clunes, <1857-1871>.

The hotel site was not given in the 1857 news report, but was in the Creswick Licensing District.[1]

In March 1871 Thomas Dunn was granted the license with conditions:

Thomas Dunn, Mount Beckworth; granted on condition of his erecting more rooms to the house, if not the license to be refused next time.[2]

The People[edit | edit source]

  • In July 1857, an application by Edward Carter for a license was postponed as the hotel was not completed.[1]
  • In March 1871 the license was granted to Thomas Dunn.[2]
