History[edit | edit source]

Two children robbed the hotel in November 1914:

Two lads, aged 10 and 11 years respectively made a raid on the till at the North Creswick railway hotel on Friday last. They boarded the afternoon train to Ballarat where they spent the proceeds of their raid, and on returning in the evening were questioned. They admitted having secured 7s 6d and spent the whole amount on ice cream, cigarettes, etc. They will be dealt with by the Children's Court in due course.[3]

In November 1916. E. A. Dooley withdrew his application to the License Reduction Board to voluntarily surrender his license.[4]
