Patrick Elligett was a publican in the Daylesford area, <1890s-1900.

Patrick Elligett was born c.1831, the son of Patrick Elligett and Bridget Sobin.[1] He married Catherine Boyle in Victoria in 1864.[2] They had several children including:
- Patrick William, born 1865, Carlton.[3]
- John Michael, born 1871, Daylesford.[4]
- Winifred, born 1874, Daylesford.[5]
- Edward Denis, born 1876, Daylesford.[6]
- Mary Ellen, born 1877, Daylesford.[7]
- Denis James, born 1880, Daylesford.[8]
- Margaret Ellen, born 1881, Daylesford.[9]
- Ernest James, born 1883, Daylesford.[10]
- Walter Francis, born 1885, Daylesford.[11]
- Catherine Celina, born 1887, Daylesford.[12]
Elliget had the license for the Victoria Hotel at Coomoora.
He died at the hotel in January 1900:
Mr Patrick Elliget, senior, of the Victoria Hotel, Coomoora, died last week after an illness of several months from heart disease, and cancer in the stomach. He arrived 1848, coming first to the Kyneton district, after which be removed to the neighborhood of Daylesford. In the old digging days he carted through the Black Forest, and could relate many hair-breadth escapes from bushrangers.[13]
His wife Catherine took over the hotel after his death.[14]
His wife died in February 1907. The death notice showed their daughter was also in the hotel business:
The many friends of Miss Elligett, proprietress of the Times Hotel, Campbell's Creek, will regret to hear of the death of her mother, Mrs E. Elligett, of the Victoria Hotel, Coomoora, at the age of 64 years. The deceased lady had a long illness and passed quietly away early on Sunday morning.[15]
In December 1914, two of his daughters, Winifred and Mary, were operating the Durham Ox Hotel at Allendale.[16]
