Richard Jones was a publican in Ballarat, Victoria, <1862-1868>.

Richard Jones held the licence for the Victoria Hotel in Main Street, Ballarat, from at least 1862-1868.[1][2][3]

In April 1867 the Ballarat Star reported on the marriage of his daughter:

On the 23rd April, at St. Paul's Church, by the Rev. J. G. Love, Frederick Orme, Sandhurst, eldest son of Mr F. Orme, Prahran, to Ellen, eldest daughter of Mr Richard Jones, Victoria Hotel, Main road, Ballarat.[4]

In May 1868, Jones transferred his license to the Royal Standard Hotel in Main Road.[5]
