The Sussex Hotel was a hotel in Ballarat, Victoria, <1894>.

The only source located so far (2018) only gives the location as Ballarat West. In the 1940s John Hargreaves wrote that an old resident had told him that the Sussex Hotel was one of the names of a hotel trading on the Carbine Hotel site, on the corner of Sturt Street, and Windermere Street.

  • In September 1894, John W. Rail, a candidate in the Ballarat West election, used the Sussex Hotel for a political meeting.[2]
