The hotel was in Rokewood Junction.[1] In June 1863 the hotel was described as being in Linton.[2]
Background[edit | edit source]
The Sydenham Palace, was another name for the Crystal Palace built in London for the Great Exhibition of 1854.

- In June 1863 the publican's license was granted to William Bray.[2]
- In December 1872, the publican, John Gyles, had his license renewed.[1] Spelled as Giles in the Courier.[3]
