Thomas Brumfield was a publican in the Ballarat district, <1864-1886.

Thomas Brumfield was born in England in about 1813, the son of Harry Brumfield and Mary Beamister.[1]

Brumfield held the license for the Prince of Wales Hotel at Snake Valley from at least July 1864 to December 1883.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Brumfield died in Snake Valley in November 1886 [1] :

THE Friends of the late Mr THOMAS BRUMFIELD, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Linton Cemetery. The funeral procession will move from his late residence, Prince of Wales Hotel, Snake Valley, Carngham, on Wednesday, the 1st of December, at 1 o’clock. CHARLES.MORRIS, Undertaker, Grenville street, 100 Sturt street.[8]
