His son, Denis Joseph, died in May 1897[1]:

TRACY.—The Friends of Mr and Mrs T. H. TRACY are respectfully invited to follow the remains of their dearly-beloved second son, Denis Joseph, to their last resting-place, the Creswick Cemetery. The funeral will leave their residence, Farmers' Arms Hotel, Smeaton, on Thursday, the 27th inst., at 1 o'clock.[2]
