TRAVELLERS' REST, LYONVILLE. Margaret Gleeson. Hugh Ross knew the Travellers' Rest Hotel, at Lyonville. He thought the statutory period would be better than the present time owing to the greater timber traffic in those days. He look fair rental at 17s 6d per week, ten years' purchase ,£455, less £57 reductions, equals £400 in round numbers. Deduction for insurance £15, and compensation fee, £25. Delicensed: 5s per week, fair selling reserve, £120. It is an old property, but ought to be worth that.
