The hotel was later renamed as the Freemasons' Hotel.[2]

Community Involvement[edit | edit source]

  • In December 1865 a meeting was held at the hotel to organise supporters of Sir Francis Murphy and Henry Henty as candidates for the seat of Grenville as the next election.[3]
