History[edit | edit source]

The license of the hotel was surrendered to the License Reduction Board at Bendigo in May 1912.[1]

The land around the hotel was sold in July 1915:

In this district the crops are yielding fairly well which has also given a stimulus to the value of land. Four and a half acres attached to the old Victoria Hotel has recently changed hands at £220.[2]
